Jcole---That poem is in a song by the group Art Of Noise. The song is called Paranomia. Give it a listen. It's a cool tune. Well, I did have shoes but those God awful brown ones from the Junior Boot Shop because my feet had issues.Since I've been old enough to buy my own shoes, I have never bought brown and won't. I don't even like brown clothes so I wouldn't have done well with the burlap flour sack. The uniforms were bad enough. Frumpy city. I, too am penning a book about my life. I think it'll be filed in Sci-Fi. OOPS, my bad on the alter boy ID. But, he does resemble a young Villerot. Man 105! That's hot! I sure would not like to clean those suits either. P.U. Zitro--Good thing you put those asterisks in. You were about to be sent to the principal's office. I'm hungry now. Ordering some Papa John's. So, ta ta lovely ladies and cheerio old chaps. |

JC: Thanks for the up lifting poem. EB: I got an idea for the jacket cover and the title: "Side Car Travels" with a picture of the burro and sombrero in the background |

I'll try to get appropriate pictures on my trip to Goose Bay Labrador next summer. Might have to bring my own concrete sombrero. |

You guys sure pegged this day right. Cold wet foggy. This morning we had one groggy foggy soggy doggy. So we kicked up the thermostat, and put a big dent into our Christmas decorating...and while we're not done, let me tell you it's beginning to look A LOT like Christmas! The Nativities are on display, as are the bears, snowmen and such. I even have a yen for some egg nog. |

Actually, it is His Eminence John Cardinal Dearden, or more accurately, Archbishop Dearden of Detroit at that time...and "thanks for noticing" Art. |

Jokerman, nice to hear from you again. Coincidently, just attended a wedding reception tonight where the bride and groom live in San Diego. The weather was perfect here (rainy and cold) to show off the comparatively beautiful Michigan weather. |

It actually plumeted to the 30's last night here in Metropolitan Houston. It reminded me that MI really isn't that far away. So, it was cold and actually foggy last night. Sonny Eliot would say it was Coggy. Jokerman---Since I haven't heard about you till just now, when did you go to St. Jude? I went 69-77. |

Hi all- Sorry, I was out of state for a bit for work - 7K - nothing like rubbing it in about the Christmas decorations - we by-passed the fall decorations and will go straight to the Nativity set - one of these days! |

Thanks - and ABSOLUTELY!! On Friday night, we helped decorate the church basement for the big chili cook-off. Had a great time, hanging the hot peppers and decorating the tables. Great turn-out in spite of the rain. I'm guessing about 60+ stayed after 4:00 Mass. It lasted for a couple of hours, raised a little money and everyone had a wonderful time. Lots of laughing and chili tasting ----'need I say more about the ride home? :-) |

Oh yeah, but it was SO worth it! A little rain never hurt anyone, but the alternative, well, could be a lot deadlier. |
