Welcome Bluesky. You'll find a number of your classmates here, I think. You'll just have to figure out who they are. (Not me). And you're doing just fine. Just read all 7,000 or so posts to catch up. |

Bluesky: Welcome. If you have any pictures, memorabilia, etc. please post here or on St. Jude Face book (recommended). You'll find a lot of videos and photos to take you down memory lane. http://www.facebook.com/pages/ Detroit-MI/St-Jude-Roman-Catho lic-Parish/13026593213 |

Hey - Bluesky! WELCOME! Class of 70 is become VERY well represented here! You will get a good chortle over a lot of the posts - and some you will just shake your head. I'm not too good at the acronyms either, so I just ask, or just make up my own interpretations. Don't know if you read about our cheerleading team, but JC and I were alone with her hitting the trampoline and landing on my shoulders -now you have to jump higher and land on hers! Any other 70's folks lurking around out there? |

Yep - definitely worth a trip to ER to get the gang together! Yes, Z - a You-Tube moment the likes of which would take down the World Wide Web with the amount of hits it would receive! |

Welcome Bluesky, I guess the class of 70' is well represented. Normally we like to shorten a person's nickname for convenience sake, but that would make you BS so I guess we'll have to come up with something else. |

If we use BS, it could mean we're addressing Bluesky, or just dissing someone's posting. Eg: "BS, step away from the eggnog bowl". |

Z: Like to see JJ Putz on board with the Tigs. Although we would have to give up some hitters and a pitching prospect. but, he's a downriver and UM guy...got to go with that..Oh by the way, he can bring it. |

I'd prefer Putz over Wood, but I'll take either. Not too often the Tigs can get a hometown boy. Anything's better than Fernando, he watched Todd Jones too closely and followed his I don't need to bear down until I have the bases loaded mentality. |

Hopefully if the Tigs acquire J.J. the term "What a Putz" will take on a different meaning for our closers. |

I'm about 3/4 done with my Christmas wreath anyone have some extra IBM punchcards I can borrow? Preferably already folded, spray painted silver with the glitter glued on. Thanks |

I always preferred the gold spray paint. I'll trade you some IBM punchcards if you have some extra Reader's Digests to make doorstop Christmas trees. |

Those were fun to make, as were the IBM wreaths. Funny to think back to those punchcards being the height of technology when we were kids, and now look how we're communicating with each other via PC. |
