Legend has it that when the Eastwood Gang (Paul Gallas, Larry and Louie Shaheen, Steve Aubrey, Paul Bass, Steve Garavaglia, Ron Karl et al) went north of 7 that all the people would step back when they rode through (this is where the theme music from the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly comes in). Of course everyone in the St. Jude vicinity knew of their long rule on the black top.

Was in some fun snowball and rock fights with some of those guys. It was nice to be on their side...that's for sure.

EB, the very vibration of your motorcycle lets the whole town know when you are coming through. Kind of like 'Easy Rider' or Geezy Rider, or something.... :-)

Paul's Cruise is a good one. I would recommend it. We did our SJ class reunion a couple years back. Good time had by all.

Z - Those guys along with Sammy Barrone, The Finnazo's, and a few other pizans. Will get some more names for you when I talk to a friend of mine. He will surely remember a name or two.

JC - I didn't mean to frighten the woman and children.

M, you had said the Judilaires were coming to your Parish. We had this penciled in, but it didn't happen. Did you go? And did you find out if any of the group are originals?

Kris Kloock was a year older than me and was going with Dennis Allor who was on the swim team - she was on the girls swim team. I do remember Steve Devolder and Dennis Jacobs - they were in my class. We called Dennis DJ.

I've seen the name Garvaglia mentioned several times in the last few days. Do any of you remember a George Garvaglia who went to St. Ray's?

I believe they are still married. Dennis (DJ) lived right across the street and Kris just a few doors down. Steve lived on Liberal between Boulder and Redmond.

Yes. There was Mark whose dad was DPD, they lived about 5 doors down next to Judy Bialk and then Steve, Mark's cousin.

Thanks. I thought I knew them. Probably a cop thing. Speaking of that, do you remember a guy from ND named Dave Wrobleski (I think that was his last name)? REAL tall, blond, skinny? A year ahead of us and his dad was a cop.

Doesn't ring a bell. Dennis Jacobs dad was DPD too. I think he was a photographer for crime scenes.

There was an Amy Joy on Gratiot - and for sure one on Van Dyke and 10 mile ish. Never went to the one on Van Dyke, but remember the slanty roof - kinda like the "Stuckey" buildings we still pass on 75, that aren't Stuckey's any more.
