The Golden Lion restaurant on Moross and Mack? I think it was torn down long ago. I think it's the parking lot of the Walgreen's. |

I tried to get those "isolated" Facebook lines to attach to our St. Jude Facebook - we'll see. I don't understand the "groupings" of alumni - is it an organized plot against the establishment? |

I notice that these new SJS pages seriously discriminte against us REALLY old alums from the 50's. Good thing my wife's a lawyer. We may be starting something. The nerve of those young whippersnappers.
Z, if you mean the Gold Door Lounge on 8 Mile (home of the Aaron Williams Trio), that was the 1st bar that let me run a weekly tab. For sure the 1st bill I took care of each pay day. |

I know I haven't been on here in quite a while but, so many issues happening all at once and had a move to a new place and quite a bit of extra work in getting in accomplished. I also had a very bad experience on another thread here which really hit me in the face and hard. It was with a total stranger who thought they knew me for some reason and really hurt me deeply. I've been on FB mostly and have posted to the SJS Nostalgia page as well as requested friendship and sent alot of stuff your way Kellyroad but, got no replies. I thought maybe I had upset everyone here and that you really didn't want anything to do with me anymore. Maybe my postings didn't sync up with yours enough but, I came from a later class and some things I can't recall as well. Maybe my humour offended but, I never try to offend anyone. My humour can be a bit sarcastic and always pretty pun heavy but, I never intend to offend anyone. I hope I can still post to this but, if you all would rather I don't, then I will have my account deleted. I'm sorry if I hurt anyone or offended anyone. God bless and take care all.

Lent can't get here fast enough. My New Year's resolution concerning chocolate lasted until the pregame show for the Winter Classic. By then the urge was so great, I ended up slorping up a whole box of Queen Anne's along with a pint of Borden's 2%. Now I've got five boxes of Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies left staring me in the face. |
