He just announced it on The Tonight Show. It will April 7th. He said he called the Palace and they offered the building for free for his show. Advertisement Leno announced Monday that he will have a free show on April 7 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The show “Jay’s Comedy Stimulus Plan” aims to offer a night of free entertainment to unemployed workers. The Detroit Pistons will donate their home court for the event, according to the show’s Web site. Parking will be free. The comedian will appear in Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills on April 7, 2009 for a night of free entertainment with Detroit's unemployed workers; the NBA's Detroit Pistons will donate their home court to house the event. I am not a fan of Leno. But this man is a major car buff, and he respects the American automobile industry. He has my respect for this show. |
