Wouldn't surprise me if it did.
By "didn't happen at one of our council meetings" I was half expecting to see a story about the council making sense, making a positive impact, making progress or putting racist bullschitt aside.

I'd rather the Detroit CC just do this instead of their usual noises. It would make more sense.

That's what Detroit needs, a breath of fresh air.

YEAH thank god our council isn't laughing at meetings. They are doing better things like being racist and stalling progress.

I can tell which council smells worse. They always emit the most hot air too.

Speaking of city council antics, we've got quite a few council 'regulars' up Grand River her ein Lansing who antagonize the council, some even getting out of hand. Check out the latest disruption that happened a few weeks back:
Public comment turns scary at Mondays Council meeting
Not that long ago, one of the regulars tossed a noose at the floor in front of the dias claiming that he free speech was being choked.

Um.. Detroit should only be so lucky to have council members like that, who seem concerned with real issues rather than being racist and divisive. These people seemed quite civil, and were merely taking a few moments to laugh and enjoy themselves. Notice no rancor or negativity. Just some harmless fun.
