Nope. Walked by it yesterday. It's in the same shape that it has been for over a year now.

^That's like asking when will the economy recover.

Also, that would be asking when will Quicken move downtown or when will the Broderick Tower Lofts be completed.

It was supposed to open last fall, shortly after the Lions first win.

Detroit is doomed! We don't have an industry anymore. :-(

Exhibit A: Are You Prepared?

Exhibit B: Are You Prepared, Pt. II

No one believes that in 2 years from now there will only be a slimmed down Ford company. GM/Chrysler will go the way of the Dodo bird. No Shield's moving to downtown Detroit in our lifetimes.

Because Rochesterians have disposable income, and Detroiters don't?

I ate at the Shield's in the ROC last week, thought it was tacky and bland. The outside was pathetic, it doesn't look like a restaurant, more of a strip mall store.

Did you think that the food was tacky and bland or the decor? The food should taste very simualr if not the same as the other Shield's locations in the suburbs.

Question: Just what is the outside of a resurant supposed to look like?
