i did it for the superbowl. i was living in the Kales building at the time. Just put up an ad on craigslist and they called within minutes. We used an apartment lease form i found on some website. i had a great experience. |

I'm not completely clear on the concept. You mean you actually let sports fans into your house? If so, I'm not sure that's a good idea. |

Ha! Good luck finding a renter... but let's not try to sell Islandview Village as walking distance from Ford Field. The only way I'd walk from Ford Field to Islandview on a Monday night around midnight is if I had an AK-47 and a small militia on my side. Instead, I'd go with "Only a 5 minute cab ride from Ford Field!" Good luck! |

Actually, it's a 12 minute drive according to Google map. Almost walking distance was a joke although 3 miles is no BFD. Anyone with the cash to buy these tickets will obviously drive or take a cab. During the day I personally would have no problem doing that walk. Walk to Eastern Market all the time. At night a diferent story, AK-47 sounds like over kill, a 9mm-Glock does the trick. No need for a small militia, just take my wife... please. |

Wow. $400 per night at the cheapest. People must be desperate to go to the Final Four. |

funny most of those listings on craigslist are from the Kales Building. I thought about renting my place, but it just seemed weird letting people stay in my house without me there. |

I got $1000 a night for a friend's apt. at the Kales for three nights during Super Bowl. A Sports Illustrated reporter rented it. Most people in town for the big games are responsible professional people, so you probably don't have to worry too much about the tenants--just tailor the lease to cover damages. |
