Believe it or not music is not as important to me as it was 20 years ago.
Is this wrong?

The often rejected Jeff Lorber Fusion (early work):
- Wizard Island (1980)
- Water Sign (1979)

Also:
Earth, Wind and Fire - Gratitude
Buddy Guy - I Was Walking Through the Woods
Prince - Dirty Mind

Bigb23, it is not up to anyone else to determine the answer to that question. People often over the years go through "seasons" of changing preferences. Change is inevitable.

Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians - Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars. As annoying as I remember it. Next will be Eddie Vedder - soundtrack to Into the Wild.

Does anybody like classic country? I need to put some CD's together for my trip to Tennessee and could use suggestions. No new country, please.

Since I'm at my computer so often I've taken to seeking out songs on YouTube, too. Some of the videos people have made are quite touching, despite flaws or unprofessional looks.

Here someone put their family's home movies and pictures to Seger's Like a Rock

Here someone did a pretty nice job with Marvin Gaye's Inner City Blues

Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Grandpa Jones, Buck Owens, Maddox Bros. & Rose, Connie Smith, Jimmie Rodgers, Louvin Bros., Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and many more. Just about any of the old famous names are good. Maybe you should look around for a sampler cd. I have a Smithsonian Classic Country collection on vinyl, but there is probably something like it on cd.

I did forget about Kitty because I don't really like her. :-) Wanda, I do like but I like her rockabilly stuff and I didn't think that was what John was looking for.

That is a seriously cool jukebox.

Not mine, but it might be soon. It's a G-200 model, made in 1956 by AMI. Plays both sides of 100 45-rpm records.
