The link you posted, for my benefit, to the Turtles video started me on a half-hour odyssey through a pile of Turtles stuff. I always had a very high opinion of The Turtles, although, later on, I found Kaylan & Volman to be vaguely creepy in a way on which I could not quite put my finger. | ||

Pam, naw, I wouldn't ever do that. That Turtles video... the link took me to Youtube, but it said that video is no longer available. If it is the one where Kaylan & Volman are explaining how their whole Turtles thing was derailed by unscrupulous managers, agents, lawyers, etc., yes, I've seen it. What a mess. I suppose they could be exaggerating or lying, but I doubt it. It is a theme too common among hippie rock stars from the 60's and 70's. I don't think they are all lying. | ||
