Jake Holmes-Dazed and confused.

He was the guy who wrote Dazed and confused, then Jimmy Page ripped it off and gave Holmes ZERO credit.

The Jam - Town Called Malice

Good pick, ORF. My favorite Jam tune. I always thought that song had a motown feel to it, even if it was a bunch of brits singing about life in the UK.

Got all the Jam's stuff and man they can play. Actually, they are one of the tightest trios I have ever heard. Right now I am going through all the New Order stuff. I like the song Temptation.

"...the Ring is a magnificent work, providing you can make any sense out of it.....and is the only grand opera on Earth that comes in the giant economy package...."

Diana12163....
....my folks saw Anna Russel at Cleary Auditorium in the late '60's. We have to settle for this....

Hi, Douglasm- The Ring was performed in Toronto about a year ago. I saw the dress rehearsal for Ziegried and was quite impressed.
I know precious little about opera, but I always appreciate powerful singing, although I am, at the moment, listening to the radio show that follows mine, which ended at 10, with a live John Holt track (No Tribal War, I think Prince Mohammed also sings this roots reggae classic)... the guys are playing some apropos spacey sounding stuff as I type, listen for oneself at www.ciut.fm while I rejoin them in the on-air booth... I am between ISP's- I hate the 2 main options so I am internet-free these days although I can poke around on-line here at the station after da show...

I'm making a big Steve Earle iTunes list to take to work. I'll add his lovely wife, Allison Moorer to it, they're so good together.
