Any minute is good to excise abusive ad corrupt bloated government regulations foisted on the public in the name of saving animals...another in a long lie of liberal boondoggles.

quote:

In 1782, the Continental Congress made the bald eagle our national bird. Bald eagle populations dropped from more than 100,000 nesting eagles at that time to only about 400 breeding pairs in 1963. Today, there are more than 7,500 breeding pairs in the lower 48 states - including an increasing number of nests found in Illinois.

No reason for the Government to concern itself about a clean livable habitat?

The bald eagle declined because of an unclean environment? And the resurgence was because of a reversal of this? Let nature takes its' course and recognize that we are part of nature.

The numerous instances where species protection is just a shill for political corruption whereby a favored supporter is able to squash competitors because their land is labeled protected and inaccessible to the owners (a violation of individual property rights and liberty) are sickening.

DDT was the pollutant that nearly destroyed the Eagle. Last time I looked that wasn't part of nature.

The political corruption is being written by the pen of GWB as we speak. Favored Supporters= mining, oil, logging and power.

The same DDT whose absence is responsible for millions of human deaths.....screw the eagle if that is the cost.

Just a educated guess, but the comeback of the Bald Eagle coincides with the banning of the use of DDT.

Just an anomaly?

Or was it a "Canary in a coal mine" warning?

The current policy in Africa restricts it to non-agricultural uses. It's not banned there.

Do ya think? "Solving" this one?? A pipe dream at best. The market will correct itself...despite the efforts otherwise by government intervention.

Palin's Appeal Wearing Thin?
quote:

Mike Papantonio of Air America Radio's Ring of Fire appears on Fox & Friends, opposite Michael Gramm, to talk about whether or not the government should step in and bail out the big 3 automakers. Also on the table is whether or not Sarah Palin has a future in the GOP, or has her 15 minutes of fame finally come to an end?

GOP Blames Unions For Detroit's Ills
quote:

Mike Papantonio of Air America Radio's Ring of Fire appears on Your World with Neil Cavuto to combat the right wing attack on unions. The GOP is trying to pin the blame for the "Big 3" automakers downfall on union activity, a fact that all available research and analysis proves completely false.

"Trying to pin it on the unions"? Here is a clue...when Gettelfinger makes huge concessions, he is doing it because both he, and the big 3, know that this is needed to avert disaster. Logic tells us that the unions are very much at fault.

quote:

Rocker, author, radio host, and activist Henry Rollins talks with Ring of Fire's Mike Papantonio about everything from the legacy of George W. Bush, to the Iraq War, to the failures of the mainstream, corporate-controlled media. Henry is a true Renaissance Man, and possibly one of the greatest intellectual thinkers around today. He is currently on his "Recountdown" tour, and you can find out more information about upcoming dates by visiting his website at http://henryrollins.com/website/news/index.html.

ah, yes, investigating unconstitutional, tyrannical, behavior by bushies is a waste of money, but blowing twice as much investigating a bj is just fine.

the proof, bats, is in the pudding:

Henry Rollins:

"I believe that today more than ever a book should be sought after even if it has only one great page in it. We must search for fragments, splinters, toenails, anything that has ore in it, anything that is capable of resuscitating the body and the soul."

Ted Nugent:

"I have busted more hippies' noses than all the narcs in the free world."

Obstruction of justice (OJ), not BJ.

So Rollins admires intelligence...that doesn't mean he posseses it. Besides, taking one quote out of context is hardly proof of anything is it?

bats, your too funny. Their different approaches to language are fully born out in those two quotes. it extends through their lyrics, their other writings and comments as well. they are VERY representative of each world view and attitude.

got proof to the contrary?

Not my claim to prove or disprove...it is yours. I suggest standardized tests of aptitude and intelligence, school transcripts, etc.
