And I wish her well. But, there are 47 Million Americans that can't even hope for that level of care. Without profit based insurance, most financially struggling Americans are charged more than the insurance companies are charged for a hospital stay. Now, employers are even dropping that benefit. The Royal family are not better than us. |

So wrong. If a person is uninsured, and needs that type of care, they will receive it. I see examples of that occurring everyday. In fact, to be denied the care would be illegal on the part of the hospital denying it. Now, said fictional person may (or may not, depending on a number of factors) be held responsible for the bill, but that would be as it should be. The 47 million number is at least double what it should be and in no way a crime against anyone. If 25 million young and healthy people choose not to spend their money on coverage and take their chances, that is, and must be, their right. |
