I did vote for Kucinich, but apparently there are a lot of Dems more in the middle. The people posting here are not a representative sample.

I'm a Democratic Centrist. I didn't vote for Obama, either. How did I end up a Communist?

Alan, look again, the top (not the right) is labelled fascistic (and not Naziism either).

It also happens that the fascistic label is not correct on these grids.

Russia IS NOT CAPITALISTIC. They are a failed socialistic system still struggling along as such.

Who did you libs vote for if not Obama? McCain?

An interesting, but flawed exercise.

Is it changed from the earlier survey?

In the OlaBatverse...anyone on the left is a communist...Communism isn't a bad thing...I'm glad we're allowed to think for ourselves...The Democratic Republic where our elected officials care more about corporations than the voter...I love the republic...

You're foolin' yourself! We're living in a dictatorship. A self-perpetuating autocracy in which the working class...

we're an anarco-sydicalist commune. We take it in turns to be a sort of executive officer for the week...but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting...

D-mcc says, "In the OlaBatverse...anyone on the left is a communist..."

'Ola' as in oladub? Challenge. I do mention economic fascism but when was the last time I even mentioned Communists? Economic fascism, or corporatism, is when politicians, be they left or right do something like vote for Bush's wall Street bailout. Politicians, even those on the 'left' who vote the bankers' interests can't be called Communists. They can however be seen as corporatists. Now you can go off and find elsewhere where I called everyone on the left 'Communists".

Firstandten, a reasonable answer.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -4.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.05

Not surprised...a friend once told me I was a "Demotarian".
Most people fall somewhere around the middle; a little left to a little right. It's the extremists on each end of the spectrum who lecture us how to live or think, IE, Jesse Jackson & Rush Limbaugh. But as my dad told me, "Opinions & excuses are like a**holes: Everybody's got one."

Well said Oladub. Notice that GWB is sqaurely in the crosshairs on the bailouts, as he should be.

Were you a liberal, you would be defending Obama as he sold your liberty out in favor of bread lines (as he is endeavoring to do now)

Note the big clump in the SW quadrant which is further from the main group of Democratic candidates then the Democratic candidates are from the Republican candidates.

I think the SW quadrant is very overrepresented on this forum relative to the real world out there. Nature of the beast apparently.

Remember that coservatives left Detroit for dead decades ago, so it's unlikely you'd find many of them on a message board about the D.

At least we (at Dyes) are closer to libertarian. Now we just need to shift way over to the right.

all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves
