This game is awful. Between the ND-Michigan game yesterday and this stinker I figure I've already caught two of the worst football games of the season.

Thankfully, the Lions won.

Lions won. Can't ask for more. And they actually did it with touchdowns!

I'll take 17-3 any day. No turnovers, no drive killing penalties...The Packers looked more like the Lions...It doesn't have to be flashy.

Harrington still can't throw downfield consistently despite all his "weapons". And the Packers defense isn't exactly one of the best in the league. I know a win's a win, but...

I think the receivers bring a presence to that offense though...I mean...Ahmad Carroll single handedly was responsible for 4 Lions first downs...those are things the box score won't show...Reminded me of when Terell Buckley would try and cover Herman Moore...it was either interference...or a completion...

Gotta agree with Myers. Many of the penalties against GB was because GB couldn't handle the Lions and were getting beat out of the blocks.

The Lions had difficulty scoring again (why? with a west coast offence they should be scoring at least 3 TD's a game)but I will take the win.

Get off your cynic couches and just start rooting. I've had enough of the negative critical sport fan tone. Some years ya just have to pull through and some years sit back and enjoy the glory. I predict the Lions will be great this year. I'm a warm hearted fun loving lions idealist that will accept the inevitable: Lions will have their glory one day. Maybe this year.

LOL, MPow has a point. First it was bitching about not scoring td's, even jokes that the defense would score one and the kicking team would score the other prior to this game. After the game, Joey was able to drive the team down the field and score two td's and get within field goal range for another 3 pionts. Now thats not enough? What more do you want? We got a VERY decisive win, yet apparently it was too ugly of a win for some.

Heh...I agree. I have nooooo problem with that win. It's not a beauty contest. I seem to remember two other teams winning ugly all the way to the Superbowl...The Ravens and the Bucs...(and no, I'm not saying the Lions are going to the Superbowl, or even the playoffs ya slappy)

Well, I figured this victory in to my predicted 7-9 finish, so they are on track to match my expectations.

aaaah no! Cornbread is burn'in in the oven.

Look bottom line yesterday....two average teams playing a football game.

Joey is not tha'Guy.
Kevin Jones is slow.
Mooch west coast version is boring.
Farve is old.
