So is the O-line co-ordinator and Tight-end coach. Still doesn't address the overall issue. An Organization that doesn't have a clue!

...predicting the same old, same old next year.

BTW: Why did Detroit pass on the Dennis Green again? Hmmmm...maybe it was a guy by the name of Millen?

The constant problem with the Lions is the one person who cannot be fired. Haven't won a playoff game since 1957! You can blame the coaching staff, the GM, the players (all of which are problems), but the same guy keeps hiring them.

The Lions are going to be holding a press conference today in Allen Park, according to the big picture of Matt Millen at a podium on http://www.detroitlions.com/

That's totally bunk Super_d...the Lions didn't decide to interview and hire Dennis Green because he was black! They decided not to interview and hire him because he was GOOD. ;)

Gmich - don't want to be a stickler here, but the Lions did win ONE playoff game during the current stretch of time since 1957. In 1995, I think.

Hmmm, I wonder who the mustachioed Pennsylvania resident genius will bring in next? With a 20-55 record as GM, I guess that next coaching choice could get him to 30 wins in the next four years so the Fords will give him another contract extension.

Are you sure? I thought it said "has won one playoff game since 1957" (or something like that)in the article. If not, then it is their mistake...isn't that just like Yahoo? Never giving Detroit the respect its due with its one playoff victory! ;)
