Do you think he should be booed when he comes back or should he receive a round of subtle applause for his tenure here? I think he's probably going to get his fair share of boos despite bringing us a championship and a near championship. I think the boos will be for the debacle he put the team in with his wavering on remaining the coach. He soured me there. I'm wondering f he regrets moving on from a winning organization to that Isiah Thomas quagmire that's the Knicks. |

I think the Pistons are going to be better off with Flip running the show over Larry. Seems more freedom on the court. Brown can have the Knicks job. No team chemistry there, as you can see by their record. |

I hope that fans don't boo LB, but I think they will. I'll be there for Friday's game. |

'Evelethcdenver' stated,"I think the Pistons will be better off with Flip running the show..." Look, when LB announced that he was leaving the Pistons.... there was a line outside the palace from 75 south to downtown, with katz want'n to coach tha' Pistons. Don't matter if it was Ray Scott, Matt Millen, or 'Lmichigan'...The Pistons would still be 11-2. super d(motordetroit) |

I don't think that the majority of the Pistons fans would boo if LB was upfront with them back then. If he would've just said that "I want to coach my childhood dream team"- who would've faulted him for saying that. Instead we got this long winded diatribe about how Detroit was his last coaching stop. It honestly felt like getting lied to and I think that's why fans will boo. No one will deny he did some great things here but he left in such an unceremonious way, I think he deserves some of the fans' wrath. |

Was at that game tonight... third row right behind Larry and Knicks. Larry was emotional, Maubarry almost caused him to have a heartattack. Fans mostly cheered from what I saw, even though the media will say they booed. |

The Pistons took it easy on the Knicks. When they kicked into normal high gear (ie; 3rd quarter) they dominated in an embarassing way. LB's expression during the 3rd and 4th quarters... priceless. My only problem with LB leaving was how it negatively affected the playoffs. C'mon. Wait til the season is over, jackass. Give 100% to your team while you're still their coach. |
