Here's a list of coordinators the Lions should interview:

Mike Smith - Jaguars defensive coordinator; born November 30, 1959, Chicago. Linebacker East Tennessee 1977-1981. Pro linebacker Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) 1982. College coach: San Diego State 1982-85, Morehead State (Ky.) 1986, Tennessee Tech 1987-1998. Pro coach: Baltimore Ravens 1999-2002, joined Jaguars in 2003.

Cam Cameron - Chargers offensive coordinator; born February 6, 1961, Chapel Hill, N.C. Quarterback Indiana 1980-83. No pro playing experience. College coach: Michigan 1984-1993, Indiana 1997-2001 (head coach). Pro coach: Washington Redskins 1994-96, joined Chargers in 2002.

Mike Trgovac - Panthers defensive coordinator; born February 27, 1959, Youngstown, Ohio. Defensive lineman Michigan 1977-1980. No pro playing experience. College coach: Michigan 1984-85, Ball State 1986-88, Navy 1989, Colorado State 1990-91, Notre Dame 1992-94. Pro coach: Philadelphia Eagles 1995-98, Green Bay Packers 1999, Washington Redskins 2000-01, joined Panthers in 2002.

Tim Lewis - Giants defensive coordinator; born December 18, 1961, Quakertown, Pa. Defensive back Pittsburgh 1979-1982. Pro cornerback Green Bay Packers 1983-86. College coach: Texas A&M 1987-88, Southern Methodist 1989-1992, Pittsburgh 1993-94. Pro coach: Pittsburgh Steelers 1995-2003, joined Giants in 2004.

Maurice Carthon - Browns offensive coordinator; born April 24, 1961, Chicago. Running back Arkansas State 1979-1982. Pro running back New Jersey Generals (USFL) 1983-85, N.Y. Giants 1985-1991, Indianapolis Colts 1992. Pro coach: New England Patriots 1994-96, N.Y. Jets 1997-2000, Detroit Lions 2001-02, Dallas Cowboys 2003-04, joined Browns in 2005.
