I expect Detroit to give the Bengals all they can handle, with Cincy squeezing one out at the end, 34-10. |

Yeah this going to be a classic, probably coming down to a last second field goal or something. But I expect the Lions to come out a little slow in the first half and then dominate like they usually do. Lions 41 - Cincy 44 |

From SI.com http://sportsillustrated.cnn.c om/2005/writers/dr_z/12/14/ran ks.week15.part3/index.html "Forget the record. This team has given up. They don't try, they're stupid, they've got their bags packed. How many passes can you drop? How many missed tackles can you get away with? The Pack has a third and seven in OT, and Favre throws a little swing pass to William Henderson, and you'd think it was Gale Sayers they were trying to tackle instead of a 250-pound fullback. Flop flop go the tacklers. First down. Next play Green Bay gets into field goal range because Shaun Rogers, the Lions' superstar DT, grabs Sam Gado out of bounds and gives him the heave-ho, which costs them 15. Their coaching isn't much better. Let's go back to the end of regulation time. Green Bay has a third-and-16 on its own 31 at the two-minute warning. Favre runs for seven and stays in bounds. Detroit has two timeouts left. The Packers let the clock run all the way down to 1:13, then they punt. The Lions run twice, pass, call timeout ... they don't know what the hell to do. They could have gotten the ball in good shape with about 1:40 and one timeout left. Do you know how many plays you can call in 1:40? It's a cinch they don't. Nah, let's not bother. We'll take our chances with the coin toss, and then go up against Favre, in Green Bay, in OT. What a team!" |

I predict a squeaker....44-9..... Bengals had their wakeup call at home last week against the Browns. They're pretty well coached, so I would expect them to have their focus for this game. The only bright light for the Lions is the Bengals weak run defense...then again, Ar-shawn Pin-son does not really strike fear into anyone's hearts. Did they re-attach Kevin Jones' arm yet after 860 pound Damien Woody fell on it? |

Kevin Jones ain't playing and Bryson won't do squat...as for Pinner. Why do the Lions' even have him? Useless. Hoping for a blowout by the Bengals! |

It's so infuriating watching those shots of Millen sitting in his private box with his pornstar moustache, knowing he's hoping to beat the traffic back to the airport to fly back to Pennsylvania. |

I'm chuckling to myself over the lack of comment on this site over today's game. Looks to me like absolutely no one gives a squat about the Lions any more. So be it. |

"'m chuckling to myself over the lack of comment on this site over today's game. Looks to me like absolutely no one gives a squat about the Lions any more. So be it." I stopped watch a few weeks back. I went out, saw King Kong and had a nice quiet meal with the family. I didn't even turn on the radio until almost 10:30 PM to see what the score was and woouldn't you know it- WWJ just said that the Lions had lost-- with no score announced! Just the fact that they had lost badly. I guess after awhile the score is immaterial huh? |

After the fumble off the kickoff return I immediately said to my friend, "Well, I'm done with this game". I still ended up watching most of it anyway though for some laughs. Heh. Was the stadium chanting "Let's Go Red Wings" again at one point during the 3rd quarter? It was hard to tell from the tv broadcast. |

The crowd at the game pretty much ignored the Lions the whole night. Even on bigger plays the crowd barely cheered. Only a few chants of Fire Millen were heard...but there sure were a lot of drunk people stumbling around. |
