I agree that it gives the building it's own personality. My kids think its awesome. It's one of those "either love it or hate it" deals. I am sure it would have garnered national coverage had the kept it intact. Sounds like a good opportunity for a leak to the national media...LOL

I actually kinda like the Mayan motif of the windows. the real solution would be an economicaly viable use or UA.

I've always thought those windows made the building look like an elementary school. People from out of town might have thought the same thing. (not a bad thing I should add)
