Here's a start of what to expect:

1. Ken Cockrel: None. But he will conduct at least a dozen meaningless townhall meetings in hopes of preparing a run for mayor in 2010.

2. Monica Conyers: Two. 1.) Resolution allowing female wrestling in bars well past 2 AM throughout Detroit. 2.) Reparations resolution will also be introduced and passed.

3. Joann Watson: Too many to list but here's one fo' sho'. Resolution giving away more city owned land to the majority-minority city population only.

4. Sheila Cockrel: None because she won't get her colleagues support on anything for the next 4 years.

5. Alberta Tinsley-Talabi: Another resolution allowing the Mack Alive Parade to take place in 2006.

6. Kwame Kenyatta: TBD. Let's start with a senior citizens bill of rights. Also a big Ujama supporter.

7. Barbara Rose-Collins: A resolution calling for council to only have to meet part-time yet get full-time pay. Also plans to introduce another requesting larger parking spaces for council members.

8. Martha Reeves: She doesn't know she won election.

9. Brenda Jones: Whatever resolutions AFSCME wants AFSCME gets. Whatever resolutions any union wants union gets - Period!

LMichigan, the city council is a joke when it's predominately female (and I'm a woman myself).

Jai-Lee Dearing should be on that list instead of Martha Reeves!!!

Martha Reeves is touring in Japan. We won't see her for weeks to come.

Brenda Jones and K Kenyatta - are at least intelligent. I may not agree with all their politics but they at least have Detroit's best interest at heart.

Ms Watson - Love her. She is tough and she can be a bit much Africa Africa Africa...but she is intelligent.

The rest could be scary but time will tell.

Trust me Brenda Jones won't have "Detroit's best interest at heart" she will have the unions best interest at heart. Believe me they are two totally different things considering Detroit’s financial problems.
