Yes it is. Pittsburgh needs to win to make the playoffs. This one is not even going to be close. Pitts defense is solid. The Lions have no running game, can't figure out who is QB, and the receivers cannot catch the ball to save their lives. Hate to say it, but Pittsburgh easily wins this one. But have no fear, Spring Training is only a few months away!

Agreed there SS. He actually orchestrated a somewhat effective first half and moved the ball with some authority. I'm still somewhat befuddled by the lousy special teams play this week. If it isn't one unit breaking down, it always seems to be something about the lads that can't pull it together.

Given the choice of "he did miserably AND we lost" as opposed to "the QB had a decent game and we lost", I think I'd settle for our QB having a decent game. Granted it's like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Lusitania right before it sank, but as a fan I'd much rather settle for something to hang onto.

Lord knows there wasn't much. I've always held onto the fact that we're not Cardinals fans. Now THAT'S torture.
