I posted a few pictures of a Hamtramck public housing complex in a thread last spring:

I drove by today and noticed the details around the office entrance for the first time. Can Carptrash give us a verdict on these:

Oops, one more:

There's another too, but it's hidden behind a trashcan/ashtray.

Nice find MMMMMMM:
I just found this thread - and will suggest "attributed to CP" status for now. A date on the building and/or an architect might help zero in a bit more. I'm off to the carpchives in the meanwhile.

I found the date in the other thread [thanks for the link] but looked in my database and it didn't help all that much.
Samuel Cashwan is another sculptor who was in Detroit at that time and who did this sort of work. Cashwan was head of the sculpture portion of the Federal Art Project, so since this was possibly a federal project, he might have been involved. Though they do have a very CP look to them. To me.

Can we rule out Marshall Fredericks? A couple of them definitly don't look like his, but then a couple do.

Well it's never good to rule anyone out right out-of-hand, . . ... so I checked the Fredericks book - which is much more complete than anything on either CP or Cashwan and there is no mention of it.
