I read this in the freep this morning: Detroit's homeless people won't be left out of the NFL experience during Super Bowl weekend. In fact, they'll be invited to a party. So says Chad Audi, chief executive officer of the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, which will open its activities center at 138 Stimson to the city's homeless people Feb. 3-5, with four big-screen televisions inside for people to watch Super Bowl coverage. They also will get food and clothes and talk to providers about long-term care.......... the rest of the article is here: http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll /article?AID=/20060107/NEWS02/ 601070324 |
