lmao Zulu... But sadly I have to say that Millen will make another bonehead decision tho... If Millen had the choice between the Hope Diamond and a lump of coal, he'd choose the coal becuase there 'might' be a diamond in there... |

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/ news/story?id=2288985 OK, the Packers might give the Lions a run for their money as far as bad management decisions from this point forward. They're going to hire the offensive coordinator from that point-scoring juggnernaut known as the 2005 San Francisco 49er's. |

Jimaz... I really can't think of ONE reson why the Fords would consider selling the team. Why? Because the fans are up in arms? Big deal- they're still making money hand over fist with the loyal fans and TV contracts. Now if they were losing money and no one cared, then MAYBE... but fat chance they're gonna sell. They've still got one of the most firm fan bases in the entire NFL. Why give away the goose that's still laying the gold eggs?? If you were the Fords, would you?? These rumors are always along the lines of trading our sixth round draft pick for a Peyton Manning- if you were Indianapolis, would you do it? Think about it from the other side and not just in your insular fan wish point of view. |

Smogboy... I agree with you. I was going write something on the same line until I got an alarm here at work. We all know that The Fords only interest is making money. And thats what they are doing. As long as they keep selling out home games and selling beer, food and NFL licenced products they are not going anywhere. |

I'm starting to mull over what Red Wings defenseman, Chris Chelios said last night about Matt Millen being the head coach of the Lions now. And come to think of it, it actually makes some sense! Why not? Let's see Millen put his money where his moustache is and see if he can do any better on the sidelines! Talk the talk & walk the walk I say!! Instead of "FIRE MILLEN!", I say we make it "HIRE MILLEN!" and let him coach the team. |

I personally feel he should. Millen calls it how it is, wouldn't put up with any bullshit, and heads would roll. Hell, remember when he called out one of the "unnamed" Lions as one of the biggest cowards he had ever seen play? It was during an interview with Ditka a few years back. |

If it's a crush we really don't need to know about it, but seriously... why shouldn't Millen get stuck with the job? He's always talking about how great the job is. He's about as qualified for that job as he is for the president & GM of the Lions. Again, I don't know how serious Chelios was about it but it still sounds plausible. |

I still think that Haslett is in unless Detroit dickers around then he will go to Buffalo. Still, the Lions and Haslett is a terrible mix. |
