Perhaps some people here might take back their words against Ford.

"Ford Motor Co., responding to complaints from several gay-rights activists that it had cut Jaguar and Land Rover ads in gay publications due to pressure from an antigay movement, last month said it would instead run corporate-wide ads in gay publlications featuring all of its brands."

Unfuckin' real. People bitching about advertising in their publications? Take every goddamn ad outta the magazines I read and toss them in the gay publications for all I care. I hate fuckin' ads.

Who cares.

Ford makes a calculated business decision. I'm sure they figured they make more money by doing advertisements where they get the greatest return (DUH!) and aren't gonna let a conservative christian group get in their way.

Some groups seem so dumb to me. Many take a silly stance, then try to pick a target. Ford is the target.

Hmm...support two-income, no children gay couples or the impoverished and dwindling middle class family?

Looks like a no brainer to me.

Think of turnover as well. I suspect that the people that are most outraged at this are the same people that typically drive their car for 10 years.

Less turnover = less sales = less concern from the auto industry.

So how did the AFA find out that Ford is advertising in gay mags anyways? Who is the guy that works for the AFA that scans every single publication to find out who to boycott next? These people really need to get a life.

Spitty,

He is the same guy who plays the Mr. Ed theme song backwards and determines that it is a Satanic call to action.

But remember, if you criticize these jesus freaks, it means you are "out of touch" with family values.

I always knew that Wilbur worshipped the sign of the beast.

Frankly, if these people want to hate gays that's their right, they can do it. I mean, I hate them, so what's the diff?

It's this whole "forcing" people to think and live like they do that gives me a rash, and it's what I find most reprehensible.

Respect people's opinions even if they differ from yours. Isn't that what America is supposed to be about?

I think this is freaking hilarious. Any time a bunch of religious freaks get pissed off, I am all for it.
