Kanye/Nickelback aren't my "first choice" of acts that could have done this - but I'll always go along for a "freebie" - especially on Super Bowl weekend in the host City One of my favorite aspects of the Super Bowl week festivities is the music. Since there is so much music planned for current era Super Bowl bashes, it's also a great opportunity to see music that I ordinarily would not see. Variety is the spice of life! I would certainly be up for a meeting and beers It looks like I'll be downtown in the fest zone at least two nights anyway - maybe we can have a Super Bowl weekend forum meetup or something. Should be easy enough to do - especially if we do it down at the fest. Lots of places to hang, hear music, and drink a few! I can find my way around just about any place, so I'm game! I'll keep an eye for more such happenings - and if anyone knows how to get Bud Bowl/1620 tickets at Tiger Stadium (either night), I WANT TWO! It's too bad I can't attend the bar giveaways for these tix in the Detroit area, but since I am an out of towner, it's tough to get in on the contests for this. I have been listening to online radio (WRIF), but I get lots of "all circuits are busy"  Glad this was of some assistance |
