I just saw the oddest sight. About 50 people walking down Washington Boulevard (towards Cobo) all dressed very nicely and wearing lime green scarves. Some of them also had lime green giant foam fingers.

Anyone know what's up with that?

Probably protesters - I am guessing something about complaining about fuel and emissions standards being too low.

Of course if that is the case the ides of bitching about environmental concerns with foam fingers is a little stupid.

I doubt they were protesters since they didn't carry any signs. Also, these folks were very nicely dressed. Suits and skirts.

They only look like that near the BEGINNING of tax season.

The smile is decidedly absent the closer we get to April 15th...just like the rest of us only worse since they have the pressure of multiple tax returns to worry about.

There'll never be tax reform because these green freaks lobby to keep their jobs...what a scam.

Were they headed downtown to protest the WDET thing? Is that today?
