Briefly heard that Karen Dumas will be dropped from am 1200WCHB talk line-up__ I heard that the station will be going toward a syndicated format__Can anyone verify this???
First, Art Blackwell
Then, Michigan Citizen
and now, Karen Dumas
seems to me they're getting rid of all the true Black voices on the statiion.

The truth is that 1200 is going to national syndication, bringing Al Sharpton to the air waves of Detroit.
Mildred is still on from 6-10 then on to Al.
This will not affect Art Blackwell as he is on WGPR. |

The only reason the Dumas show existed was to promote the Mayor and counter the information coming from the Mildred Gaddis Show. Now that Kwame is reelected, there is no reason for the show to exist. Although to be truthful, Karen Dumas is much better as a talk host when she's not a shill for the administration. |

Employees working without a contract, going into the 2nd year.
Over 200 appointees, more than the former executive had on his payroll.
There was a story in the paper maybe a year and half ago regarding Ms. Marshall misplacing millions of dollars.
Mildred never talks about Ficano's Administration, like she talks about Kilpatrick's Administration.
