I've reviewed all of the "sublets/temporary" listings in Detroit Craigslist and learned that West Bloomfield, Commerce Township and something called, "Oakland Township" are a convenient 20 minute drive from downtown Detroit. Livonia, Ann Arbor and Brighton are also just a convenient 20 minute drive from downtown Detroit. Detroit itself is nothing but wickness and sin at every corner. Do not stay there. Instead, why not rent a private residence at 23 Mile and Gratiot, just a convenient 20 minute drive from downtown Detroit. Based purely on the Craigslist postings, I've rendered a map of the metro area.  | ||

I tried to rent an apartment I own in the DIA area out to a Superbowl visitor and because it was not walking distance NOR in the CBD, the impression people had was that they would pretty much be killed in that area. | ||

WOOOOO I have a super luxurious loft! My downstairs neighbors are trying to rent their floor out for 35K, (hold on, i must contain my laughter.) Rotting fruit + carcasses = the lap of plush luxury! I wonder if I should call my place the "penthouse suite" and try and get 50K. (Perhaps I'll leave out the 6 floor walk up part and that the bathroom and sink is out in the hallway...) | ||
