With the completion of the 1001 Woodward Garage, you can get some really nice views from up there. I figured I'd share a couple photos from the top level with you all. Speaking of Wolverine, does anyone see the red-silver-and blue Wolverine in the second photo looking down Woodward? PS, they're both good photos but I especailly like the second one! (Message edited by busterwmu on January 28, 2006) |

Great shots Wolverine...(that from a Spartan!). The Wayne State Signage on the old DTR building gives a little of that feel that the "Tower of Knowledge" provides at Pitt (University of Pittsburgh)....course they actually have classes in that building...is that completely administrative under WSU? |

Nicest looking parkiing structure in the city. That, along with the Opera House parking structure look like office buildings until u get real close to them... One benefit with all of these parking structures of late, retail is becoming standard for ground floor |

If Detroit is leading the U.S. in nothing else, it seems to be leading it in attractive parking structure designs. lol I really hope that the 1001 Lofts sell well so they can eventually get to construction the top floors of the 1001 parking structure, which will either include more residential space, office space, or a bit of both from what was originally stated. |

I think the Compuware garage looks great - better than the 1001 garage. Opera house looks splendid too. These are probably the best three structures downtown. Good pics Wolverine |

I really like that second shot. I'd like to see the same shot on a clear day in July when the trees are full and the shadows lay different. Thanks for sharing. |
