GREG VERRAS showed admirable integrity Friday eve (Jan. 27) by telling a multi-round group of guys "You already paid your tab" . . .
. . . after they needlessly slapped $70+ onto the bar and headed for The Town Pump's door.

Mr. Honesty had to convince them to keep the cash ("Really, dudes -- you paid before.) He got an extra $20 (I think) for his refreshing honesty.

When this nearby beer-drinker commented "That wouldn't have happened in New York," Greg said he assumes "what goes around, comes around."

Sean Harrington has a team full of solid folks . . . including Greg Verras ("it's Greek"), whom I met for the first time after that True Tale of Detroit played out.

He's on days this week 'til 5 p.m., so stop by and meet someone with a warmly engaging barside manner + a clean conscience. Show him karma really does swing around.

The SB can fuck with my traffic, fuck with the places I can get into, fuck with my every day life in general but how dare they fuck with my beer section.

Damn you SB, damn you!

What does Miller on tap have to do with the SB? Coors is the official Beer?

Duo - The bar the Town Pump (not me :-) ) is a great place to go. It is even "friendly" to our kind of people.
