I know there are some excellent photographers on this site. How about posting some photos to show us out-of-towners what it looks like downtown this week? My brother mentioned something about temporary retail and restaurants in otherwise closed buildings. Specifically I'd like to see some shots of Woodward from the stadiums south to Jefferson. I saw two temp. bars last night on woodward just north of CVS. They said they had their liquor license until Monday and then they were closing up. Does anybody know how many of these were issued? | ||

The night shots are great. I love all the spotlights around downtown and especially the ones on the RenCen. Detroit was so bright this weekend the entire western horizon seen from my house 8 miles east of downtown was bright white at night...like Vegas or something. |
