I think that Roger Penske is the real mayor right now. KK is just his doppelganger! Rich, white suburbaite businessmen gave KK the money he needed to win and, in return, they pressed an agenda that we aren't privy to.

However, Penske, almost certainly their chosen one, is saying publically after this week-end that he "wants to continue to be involved" - read: I am running things at the behest of the Mayor's last-minute investors!

And why would the Mayor concede to be their puppet? Because he wants to be President (his ego is that big) someday and he needs this platform, whatever the cost.

I think he should be king of southeast Michigan. Unlike most of our local politicians he actually accomplished something.

I worked for Detroit Diesel when Roger Owned it.
It was a sad day when he sold it to Daimler Chrysler. Roger's a no-bullsh*t kinda of guy who sweats ALL the details and remembers Everyones name ... special interests and entitlements bedamned.
Can we way the same about Knume'...or Kewatin...or Konfusa..or Karamba? .... you know... Mayor Hip Hoppity !

Southwest, for the record, Penske supported Hendrix in the mayoral race.
