This same Granholm a few days ago wanted the federal government (i.e., taxpayers) to fund a "Marshall "Plan" in order to bail out the dysfunctional Detroit auto industry. |

How much of the cost of an automobile is due to Federal mandates? Not necessarily disagreeing with any of the laws, but requirements legislated by the Federal government do have a huge impact on the bottom line. Someone alert Karl, I'm espousing laissez faire economics, check his pace-maker first. |

Well, whatever. Apparently Bush had already abandoned Detroit as a lost cause and had no intention of assisting that piece of America in any serious way, within his own prejudice. It was merely a routine photo-op to him. No surprise. Perhaps he wants anti-American UNfair trade policies? No surprise. |
