Guys, I have been reading the forum for months now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have enjoyed reading what you guys have had to say and just spend my time listening.
But I have a question now, I am thinking about going to the show Chicago tonight. The only tickets they have left are the loge section. which is the third level, second balcony. I was wondering if anyone has ever sat here and what the view is like. I have never been to the fisher and I am a little worried that the view isn't going to be that good. Is the theatre small? Are all the seats pretty good?
Any advice would help. Thanks

I like the Loge. You can see the whole stage and the sound is fine. The Mezzanine is recessed under the loge and upper balcony so I don't think the sound is good. The Loge sould be fine.

My wife and I prefer the Loge seats for Crew's reasons.

Mancho, welcome to the forum. If you are not familiar with the Fisher Building (not just the theatre), try to get there early and wander around the building's lobby. Walk up the stairs to the balconies to get a great visual experience looking down at the lobby. Enjoy Chicago!

I saw it last week from the loge seats. It was a great show and well worth the price of a loge seat. I do try to sit in the 1st row of the cheapest seats. They are a great view in a GREAT theater.

I saw it on the 16th as part of a gift for the girlfriend for Valentine's day. Excellent show, great theater and good seats.

There was something strange about the seating, however. We were in the Loge, left-most side, at the very back of the section. The entire area in front of us was empty. All other Loge seating areas were mostly full. I'm wondering if a ticket broker purchased the block and just never sold the seats? The theater was otherwise packed, so that wasn't the issue. Oh well, go Ticketmaster, you sure earned your $22 in fees.

Anyone have any parking tips for the New Center area during shows? I prefer to park on the streets downtown, but I'm not as familiar with the area/neighborhood around the Fisher. For simplicity I just ended up paying the $7 and parking in their garage.

Her stand-in did a fine job...but since Givens is from the broadway cast, I was looking forward to seeing her in the role of Roxy.
I'm not what you would call a "theater" person...but her presence in the cast sold me on getting tickets. We still had a good time though.
