Does anybody know where the old WJBK facilities were when they occupied the Masonic Temple? Do any remnants of the studio still exist?

Ed, I don't think there were TV studios at Masonic, but there were radio facilities. WQRS used them last in the early '90s, briefly.
The next time I am down at JBK, I will ask though.

Psip,
The WJBK TV studios were in the Masonic Temple from 1948 until 1956, when they moved to their New Center facility. I appreciate any information you can find out.

To my knowledge, the studios are still there... on the 6th floor or 6th mezzanine (13th floor). I don't know how intact they are. I don't think anything has been in there since. There is a recording company that has its address as the 6th mezzanine at the Detroit Temple: http://www.detroitgospel.com.
