Just a small complaint when is the detroit water dept going to catch up with the rest of the world and let you pay your bill online . Doing all my bills today and I the only check I have to write out is for my water bill everything else is done online ..and I`m out of stamps Urghhh . |

Right now only commercial customers can pay online. Check out https://www3.ci.detroit.mi.us/ egov/ you can email them a comment, tell them you want to pay residential bills there too. |

I pay mine online through my bank's automated bill payment system....It's nice because I can make multiple payments in a month without waiting for a statement. If I put something on my credit card, I can pay it a week later and save the interest, or pay my water bill monthly instead of all at once, etc. etc. |

GPers also have the option of having their ( exhorbitant) water bills paid directly from their checking accounts. It avoids late fees and/or writing monthly checks. |
