Pappy's Bar and Grille opened a few days ago in the old Athen's Bar space. They did a nice job on the place. I haven't tried the food yet, but I will probably hit it for lunch this week. | ||

Pretty sterile and cold, atmosphere-wise, compared to the old Athens Bar that it replaced. I'm not that impressed. | ||

I just left there. Someone spent some good coin to put a decent sports bar in Greektown. The flat screens are nice and my food is delicious (carry - out) I'm having the Buffalo Chicken Tenders with Onion Straws (appetizer). Then they shread the celery into long elegant tresses and layer on top. Lastly, you get a sprinkle of crumbled blue cheese. Nice presentation, great taste. later - naturalsister | ||
