went there today with a group of about four, had four others on their way....told them not to bother...place was open, but only for the day....what a joke....what good is a new bar with a nice patio upstairs when (1) it is only open two days out of the year and (2) the patio is closed....very pissed off. there seems to be no hope for that area, yet someone pumped some kind of money in the place.... anyone know what the hell is going to happen? |

Don't be stupid. The building is still being worked on (or the recruitment of tenant(s) is still being worked on. They are able to get a TCO in order to make some cash the few days they know they will make a killing. It is just like owning a vacant lot near the stadium. You are going to charge a ton to park or put up a beer tent during opening day, even if you are drawing up plans or selling the parcel to developers the other 364 days a year. |

Go figure that the rooftop patio wasn't open... The elevator shafts are still under construction! Let them finish the building before you start bitching about the place, dumbass. |

Geez Sparty, let them finish it first. I thought it was pretty cool, Except for that really drunk chick in the pink hat that stole my damn beer. At least it was entertaining. |

In my experience, drunk girls are rarely, if ever, virgins. It's a correlation thing. |

I just got done talking to the owners buddy. My website is looking to host a party downtown and had thought the Madison would be an ideal location. In talking to the guy, he said they wouldn't do another special event downtown. Said it was too much a pain in the ass to pull a permit. So, unless the Madison secures someone to run the bar full time, it'll stay closed. But this is just what I could gather from the guy. As for our party, we'll have to look elsewhere. |

Yeah I tend to avoid the drunk chicks. Too many possibilities of a lawsuit and false accusations which would be suicide for my future career. |
