United Way Call to Action This is a great way for people from the Detroit Metro Area to let United Way know how they think its funds should be appropriated. They currently give ~70 million annually. Let them know what you think they should spend it on…. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ---------------------------- Dear Southeast Michigan Resident: What matters to you? With regional leaders, community partners and volunteers, United Way for Southeastern Michigan is developing a long-term Community Action Plan to address the most pressing human and social service issues affecting residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. You can help make a difference by sharing your voice today. Please click on the link below and take 5 - 10 minutes to identify the human and social service issues most important to you and your family. Or, if you prefer, complete the survey over the phone by calling 2-1-1 (or 800.552.1183), United Way's easy-to-remember 24-hour information and referral service. When finished, please forward the survey to 10 people in southeast Michigan to make sure their voices are heard as well. Give your friends and family an opportunity to assist United Way's effort to improve lives and create lasting change across our communities. While it will be available through April 17, please take a few minutes and take action today. Sincerely, Your Friends & Neighbors at United Way for Southeastern Michigan COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION SURVEY: http://www.zoomerang.com/surve y.zgi?p=WEB2255AWZCKD8 www.uwsem.org <http://www.uwsem.org> what matters.(r) |
