Is anyone else getting a really blurry picture on CBC for the hockey games? I can't really explain it, but it looks like there's a lot of static (even though my CBC is through my cable feed). Just wanted to check and see if it's just my set or if other people are noticing it.

I'm sitting pretty.

But our team isn't.

Got the tv set to cbc, and the Tigers gamecast on my computer.

Both channels have a really shitty feed tonight. It's like watching an 80's game. Looks like the lighting in the arena is pretty bad, too.

My cable is always fuzzy, but I blame it on my tv.

Maybe the game is just fuzzy? The Red Wings seem to be playing like they are seeing things a bit fuzzy....

The past few nights CBC has looked terrible (coming through on digital cable). Tonight it seems to be looking better though.

Getting the game here (Vegas) on OLN, and the CBC feed looks sharp as a tack. The Wings, alas, look bad. I've never seen them get poke-checked and lose the puck so often. Well, one period yet to go.

With my WOWWAY cable, the FSN feed was crisp and my CBC feed looked pretty bad. It looked like every once in awhile the signal would fade and we could look right through everything.

CBC was great here as well. But I find the games from JLA and Edmonton seem darker which is probably due to the older areans.

Mine has been fuzzy since the start of the playoffs. Not a big deal, just happy to watch hockey everynight...

Go Oliers and Sens GO....

Mine was messed up too. The red wings better wake up before we end up losing to another one of these joke western canadian teams.

Those 'joke western Canadian teams' like Calgary went to Game 7 of the Cup Finals after beating Detroit in the last playoffs. The Joke team of Edmonton is about to put Detroit out this year too. Perhaps Detroit should become a joke team too if they want to win

Prez trophy to first round exit (again!)?
That would be a pretty good joke to me, if it DOESN'T become reality!

Why don't they show the powerpay clock? Is that a, shiff, "True Hoicky Fans Don't Need One" attitude?

Anybody know if CBC is on DirecTV for people who don't live in the Detroit metro area?

CBC stations are not routinely carried by direcTv. They do however show CBC hockey coverage as part of the Center Ice package.

Isn't it obvious, Lowell--true hockey fans have a clock built into their brain. Tough it out like Don Cherry would want you to.

I see the powerplay clock just fine. Maybe your TV's crop the image? I dunno, because the powerplay clock is underneath the score in yellow.

Yeah I see it just fine too. The pro-Canadian bias is what kills me everytime I watch the Wings on CBC.

"Oh yeah, that was a dive"

I do like "Detrohyit" however.

Much like Mickey Redman's bias against any team against Detroit. Much like Harry Neal's ass kissing of the Leafs (who seem to never do anything wrong in his blind eyes).

I called CBC in Windsor and they said they had been getting some complaints about the picture quality, but they told me to contact my cable company, since it was likely their fault...Thanks for the help, CBC Windsor. I have a feeling it'll all look better with the Wings in the lead.

Wings in 6.

I'm not sure but maybe the calls did work. My picture tonight on the game was on par with the FSN feed tonight. It was crystal clear whereas the other night looked pretty shabby.
