This past weekend my wife and I took our families on a tour of downtown since they were in town for our college graduations. I thought you might be interested in some of my wife's photos from inside the Guardian Bldg and the Masonic Temple.

Both of these building are architectural gems.

I love the old school charm that the Guardian has because it's a daily use building. Being able to dash in there for a quick meal at the Karmic Cafe has been a treat and then to sit back in that massive lobby ogling at all of the details is amazing.

I love picking up my morning coffee in the Guardian at Rowlands while all the fools are standing in line at Starbucks.

Nice shots - the on-screen rendering looks a little bit "hot," though, almost as if they were shot on slide film or converted to JPG at a high contrast level.

what's going on at the masonic? did it get sold?
the fisher is under renovation and someone there said that the masonic is done this year with shows and is going resi?
