Is it just me or is this forum lacking the insider knowledge that we used to have. Skulker took a lot of unnecessary abuse. Admitted I did not always agree with him but his opinions and incite were valuable. Lets bring Skulker back!!! |

I think it might be just you. I haven't noticed any significant decrease in the amount of accurate insider information on this site. |

First off, Skulker is not the end all of insider info on this site. There are a lot of "insiders" who still regularly post on this site. It's pretty easy to tell who they are from who is full of crap if you look at who is saying what and how long they have been on this board. Despite the best efforts of some noobs and trolls, a lot of people in the know continue to post. This site will move on and continue to be a great resource without Skulker. With that said, I miss Skulker's posts. He knew what he was talking about and could articulately argue a point with the best of them. I even long for the days when Brian and Skulker would have a knock down, drag out debate about the viability of a restored Book Cadillac. And there have been several recent projects that have surfaced or gone under the radar recently that I would love to hear his two cents about. But I probably wont get that info from him on this board for a while. And that's just unfortunate. BTW, Skulker did put up with a lot of BS from a bunch of idiots for a long time. I wonder which straw finally broke the camel's back for him? |

Saw Skulker at Cheli's just last night. He told me to tell you that he hates you all, that you can all die and go to hell. Except for Rasputin, seems he still holds a soft spot for that guy. |

I agree with everything you wrote. I also wonder how likely it is that skulker stopped posting because people that he works with didn't find it appropriate. It is one thing to have a misterious character that somehow seems to know a lot, and a whole other thing to have a virtually outed poster who receives virtual demands for information. I wouldn't be surprised if he reads this. Let me take the opportunity to say that between information and debates, I learned a lot from skulker. Thank you. Now maybe this should be moved to "Detroit Connections?" |

No that wasn't me. I don't remember a table in the middle with five. There was a table in the back with 5 who seemed kind of toolish. I was at a hightop table with a girl near the bar. I was there for the second half of the Pistons game. When were you there? |

A deep and heartfelt thanks to all on this thread and Mikem in particular. I have actually printed off copies of the first three threads so as not to lose them to posterity. I think I speak for many when I wish to thank all of you for the incredible insights, history and great thread. Please don't stop. This has got to be one of the greatest threads known to the Forum. A more extensive forum search shows Skulker's normal posting behavior remaining strong until late January/early February. It then starts to trail off. The last normal Skulker post I could find was Feb. 13 where he was talking about Michigan Ave. He then went silent until popping up on the old car factory thread in March. That leads me to believe he is probably locked up in Susanrosa's basement, more than likely with Manrooter. |

I had a Skulker sighting last night...but I was a mite groggy. Some men dressed in dark suits came by shortly thereafter...and now everything is vague. |
