Here's a cool map program that I think could be a good companion to DetroitYES and its discussions/postings. http://platial.com I think it would be real cool if we could link the PDJ to this maping program or any discussion for that matter. There would be no mixing up locations if the point of reference were mapped out. Also it would be real cool to be able to create a comprehensive map with a point showing an area that's been discussed on Detroit YES and then click on a link to that discussion. We could create a virtual catalog of Detroit. What do you all think? |

Love the idea. Especially for people who are not from Detroit or SE Michigan like me who love Detroit and are still trying to figure out which bar, out of the hundreds, Supersport went to each past weekend. Plus it would help for those who are thinking about moving to the area differentiate the good from all the bias and crap we hear from the media. |

2993 CHALMERS DETROIT, MI 48215 A city block in Detroit with one house on it. This is Detroit. Many houses where once here, now gone back to dirt and grass on way or another. |

I think it is a great idea if somebody else does the work. |

"I think it is a great idea if somebody else does the work." Ain't that a typical Detroit response! No one wants to do anything for themselves, just waiting for "them" to do it. I think we could leave it up to folks who start a thread to create a map, or leave it up to those posting on a thread to create a map. |

See what I mean, Detroiter can't even talk properly any more. They have to have their tongue touching their cheek so that their teeth don't touch together. How will folks pronounce words properly? Folks will look really silly with their tongue pushing their cheek out. |

this thing is awesome. I was looking at all my friends houses and whatnot. What would be really cool is if there was a site out there that had live sateliete images streaming, is there one? |
