It's official the Detroit City Council had approved part of KING KWAME's proposal to add $0.50 for full fare with a senior and disabled picture ID and $0.10 for transfer. This proposal will add some revenues to this financially strap city. Post your viewpoints.

It was on KING KWAME's budget proposal list since last year, Merchantgander. KING KWAME have to put it on hold due to slow start on his election year.

No, KK wanted to raise fares for disabled folks to 75 cents and still allow seniors to ride for free.

The CC proposal, initiated by Transit Riders United, was a compromise that said lets charge 50 cents for disabled folks AND seniors.
