Check out the new Ford Incerceptor photos. In the background, it looks like a sign graveyard. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/1 2/31/fords-big-gun-for-detroit -the-mustang-based-interceptor -concep/ Interesting background for a photo shoot. I figured some would find the pics interesting. |

Sorry to be the grammar nazi but it is "Where were these pics taken?". Saying "where was" makes you sound uneducated. |

A stint at being a grammar Nazi at DY could easily become a full-time position. It's too bad it doesn't pay anything. |

The pictures are interesting, but the car is Fugly. I don't understand the whole design concept of American Auto designers. Actually, I don't understand the American Auto industry at all, for that matter. hhmmm... maybe it's Americans I don't understand. The whole, buy-a-huge-gas-guzzling-car/tr uck-but-complain-when-gas-is-$ 3-or-$4-a-gallon mentality just irks me. |

Sorry grammar guy, it was 11:31 and was tired. Last time I checked "nazi" is a proper name, so that would be capitalized. I can play too! Why do I even bother posting here at all? Sometimes this forum is mean spirited; full of guys who have a chip on their shoulder. Grow up or shut up. |

I'm not going to even get in on this grammar war. I could add a few things myself. David |

Oh please, get our your red sharpie and mark up my posts. You guys like to talk about declines, what about this forum? When I joined 3 years ago, it had all sorts of information on my favorite buildings. Now this forum is more about poking each others eyes out about stupid crap that doesn't matter. So, with a big yawn, I bid thee farewell and good luck. (Message edited by commodore64 on January 01, 2007) |

I agree with Commodore64, there are people on the forum seem to be nitpicking jerks who want to dominate or control people. They just say the opposite of what someone says to start a fight. |

Back on topic...It looks a lot like a Chrysler 300 to me, at least in profile. |

My! My! How hypersensitive are some. Simply alluding to the obvious fact that there may be numerous errors on an Internet forum is now considered to be domineering or controlling! And furthermore, that statement isn't even ad hominem--quite unlike the responses from the very easily offended. |

Homer has it. Golden Nugget Casino sign, Black Jack Motel, and barren dusty foothills in background. Las Vegas has made quite a bit about retired neon with their outdoor neon museum on the Fremont Street Mall. Thanks Homer. Instead of scrapping the metals, these signs can be restored and put around town as museum art. Ford must be thinking it cool to drive one of their new cars down the Las Vegas Strip. It does look exactly like a Chrysler 300. Hum! jjaba, Westside. |

Sorry I wasn't trying to be a prick either. As you can tell it was late when I posted too. That was just too glaring for me to let go. I also didn't mean to imply that you are uneducated, if you took it that way I am sorry. |

I think folks might be getting confused because of the FOX marquee. It should be noted that there were several large theatres in the country that were Fox flagships. This sign could have come from anywhere. |
