Who are we, Chitaku? Yes, I'd be interested in coming out to play. What will make next Wednesday different from this past Wednesday, Chitaku?

Well.... I met the guy who started it, his name is Dan He lives by CAY airport. He said a bunch of guys committed but they didn't play the week before so some didn't show. he said last summer they had up to 30 people at one point. What will get it going is people to show up.

here is the myspace for it

no
they pitch but it is laid back, imagine fast pitch but the pitcher is having a smoke. It's mostly out of shape dudes with no talent playing ball. Come on Royce give it a shot

So what are the rules if any? Is there a catcher? Stealing bases? Just wondering?

I played tonight, really anyone who just wants to come and have fun should come. Right behind third street hardware. I haven't played ball like that since I was a kid. I encourage all to come out!

You were one of the 7 of us that showed up for the Turkey Game last November, Royce. Seems like this would be a whole lot easier to play.

They should make you watch "Sandlot" before they call you a member.

Sounds fun, I'll have to try and come out next Wednesday. I'm always looking for more physical activity.

Very cool you guys have this going, I'd love to join in.

Myself and about 10-15 friends have been going at it on the weekends in Ferndale on Sundays. Same vibe with the occasional "pitchers hand" and such. Perhaps we can do some crossover playing.

We do play with aluminum and wooden bats... Hope you guys don't mind sharing... as I blew my baseball wad with buying a fancy aluminum bat.

I'll definitely be there next week, and our group will his you guys up on Myspace for sure.

Are out of towners welcome? I played in a league in San Francisco a few years ago: North Atlantic Mission Baseball League and Association. Make an acronym out of it. It was fun, each team had some ringers and some beginners.

Anyhow I am going to be in town from the 1st through the 7th and would love to play.

"pitcher's hand" means that you don't have enough players for a first baseman, so if the ball reaches the pitcher's hand/glove before the batter reaches first, then the batter is out.

I'd like to come play, but not sure that Wednesday is a good day for me this week .
