Not to late to plant bush green or yellow beans. My grandson loves the beans if planted this week they can be ready in 45 days, for some reason yellow mature sooner.

Seeds are 50-75% off this time of year. Kids can harvest them easy. Is there someplace I can Send a donation for your great work.

I never thought I'd say this, but I hope the rain stops for a few days. The sitting area is flooded as of 10pm last night. So I can only imagine what the garden looks like after the rain late last night and a hour ago. I am on my way down with the camera and I will post some pics.:-(

We laughingly talked about making sure the beans and melons were planted in this low ground NEXT year!

Perhaps it would be best to run around taking pictures of the vacant land today as it is flooded, so we can survey the lay and plant them accordingly...next year!

Who's with me? Survey time...

Cub-

If this gets worse, let me know as I have a small pump that we used to use when we owned our pool business that will drain the water very quickly. If we put a nylon or something on the bottom of it, it will keep the dirt from clogging it and it will drain those low areas pronto.

I'm trying to get the lawn mowed today, with very little success. Perhaps I can get away this evening and drop it off to you. I will see what we can do if you think it will help!

Water has finally gone down. Where the water was I noticed there were a lot of flies. I found about 100 dead worms.
