Not one person coming forward but two -- sworn affidavits from reliable witnesses. I think others will begin coming forward as well really soon. (Message edited by Downtown_lady on August 11, 2008) |

Ok, all of these people are comming forward, but no specific date as to when this party occurred. I don't know how far this will go but hopefully someone with more detailed info will come forward. |

It's a huge break to finally have someone swear under oath they talked to TG and give some additional first hand details. The specific date should easily be determined with a bit of sleuthing. |

In my opinion, this is encouraging -- one of the gentleman, Walter Godzwon, did not come forward to Norman Yatooma on his own. Godzwon's affidavit is seemingly connected to Douglas Bayer, the dismissed EMT who filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the city last month, saying he was harassed, threatened and then dismissed after providing information to the Michigan State Police in their investigation of the party. Apparently Godzwon was placed at the scene (Detroit Receiving Hospital) -- presumably by Douglas Bayer. Godzwon indicated to the Free Press that he was not a willing participant in the affidavit, but that he was asked direct questions and he does not lie. The point is, Douglas Bayer placed this guy at the scene, and Godzwon CORROBORATED THE STORY. OK, now we're getting somewhere. |

Doesn't it seem like more and more corraborating information is coming to the fore all at once? Like the snowball rolling down the hill, picking up speed and momentum as it gets closer to the bottom? That's what I thought when I saw the headline about Tamara Greene talking about Carlita beating on her. And before that, the statement by that EMS technician. and then this Godzwon. All of this to me is just like working on a jigsaw puzzle and recognizing the nature of the picture as more and more pieces fit in. |

People are getting more brave by seeing KK getting beat down everyday and losing his power. They know he is being watched by the Feds and he's in court nearly everyday. I wouldn't be surprised if his phones were being tapped right now. At any rate, people are no longer afraid of him or his little EPU punks because they know the end is near. If Carlita is subpoena'ed about this, she can't lie, or she'll end up facing perjury charges. Her back's against the wall now and she has to tell the truth. But Kwame will encourage her to lie and promise to protect her. We just need more people to come forward. Somebody has a cellphone video, somebody has pics! Even if those were anonymously mailed to Worthy, we need them to come out! However, I think this is enough to propel the ball forward. |

Remember this? http://www.clickondetroit.com/ video/16851888/index.html The lawyer for Tony Davis says he spoken to two professional men (who are well known enough that the public would know them by name) who attended the party but left when they recognized illegal activity. Still waiting to see if these guys ever come out... |

It's a shame that woman died but honestly I'm done with Kwame "news". Just go and let's move on trying to make Detroit sweet. I think at this point enough is going to come down on him and his team that it's too late so we don't need to waste anymore of our time discussing it. So how bout' them Tigers?. Boooo! Ok how bout them Lions. Calvin Johnson looked like a machine. Or how about any new business' opening in Detroit? |

This "Blind Item" is from a popular (and always credible) H'wood entertainment blog that I frequent. Her info has always been eerily on target, so I'm just saying.... (Of particular interest here, the attendance of the rapper, the rest is pretty much old news) BLIND ITEM: (COVER-UP?) We know a lot about former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick but here are some things you don't know. The self-proclaimed hip-hop Mayor loved mingling with celebrities, mainly hip-hop stars. He attended a function at "Sweet Georgia Brown's," a few hours after he arrived, a lesbian hip hop star made a grand entrance with paid female strippers and female escorts in tow. One of the strippers sat on her lap at one point. We've all heard the rumors of the infamous stripper party that allegedly went on at the Mayor's mansion with dignitaries in attendance. This alleged party got so out of control that a police woman working security did a strip tease. Also, allegedly, call girls were brought in by powerboat to work the party. What few people know is: A famous/rich rap mogul was also in attendance and was allegedly a witness to the alleged assault by the Mayor's wife against stripper Tamara Green. After the incident, the rap mogul was allegedly smuggled out of the back, with a coat over his head. He was shoved into a waiting limo. His name was conveniently removed from the guest list when an investigation began. This same rap mogul is known for allegedly procuring Asian call boys from Canada for DL activities. We all know about the 4 strippers who worked the party. Two vanished and two were murdered; including Tamara Green. Allegedly, the Mayor's wife struck Tamara over the head with a baseball bat. She was allegedly taken to the hospital. Rumors persist-the reason no medical records exist is because: A cop's medical insurance was allegedly used to treat her. Therefore erasing a medical record in Tamara's name. Cover up? Tamara Green was later shot multiple times. She died at the scene. Who is the lesbian rapper? Who was the rap mogul smuggled out of the party? |

Maybe Queen Latifah. I read the text messages, and she was mentioned to be on tour with "call girls". I just don't see her liking the girls, but maybe. I think she is a wonderful person. Not sure about the other. |

The way it says lesbian hip hop star makes me think its more Missy than QL. I don't even think of QL as a hip hop star anymore, since she's made acting her full time thing - and she's better at it anyway. But perhaps if they'd said rapper and actress it would have given too much away. The rap MOGUL may not necessarily be a rapper, but someone famous or rich for rappers, like Russell Simmons. I've read some stuff about him.... But I don't remember him being in town. Mama_j, when you say you don't see QL liking the girls, do you mean liking girls period? Or liking the call girls? |

quote:MiamiLawyerChick wrote: I think you're right. I've been trying to deduce who this "mogul" is. We have to think through this carefully. In the rap game, although several individuals are successful (depending on what the set standard is), few are widely considered moguls. That leaves us with: (1) Russell; (2) Diddy; (3) Jigga (4) Fiddy. Some of the other folks mentioned would hardly be considered moguls by ANY standard. Then, if you recall a recent BI about a rap mogul pursuing Asian guys, the clue was that he was politically active. This leaves us with (1) Russell; (2) Diddy; and (3) Jigga. Then, I'm considering who would be most interested in Asian boys...and I know Russell loves the Asian flair with the half-Japanese ex-wife (suspected of her own same-sex sexual deviations), and the Buddha obsession/meditation, etc..Then, there's Diddy who had his own season of "Asian chicks only" behavior. This is getting more interesting by the minute... http://blog.panachereport.com/ 2008/10/23/blind-item-coverup. aspx |

Chrissy_snow-I just don't see QL liking girls in a sexual way. I haven't heard anything about it before. It was mentioned she was traveling with working girls. Of course it also she thought Walt was a cutie and the mayor got a big kick out of that. Also, we have to think this was back in 2002-2003. Wasn't her movie career just taking off then? |

Another interesting quote from those Blind Item comments: Russell Simmons. Has anyone watched "Run's House" on MTV? The main designer for the whole Phat Enterprises is a skinny asain boy who has a poodle. http://www.freshnessmag.com/v4 /wp-gallery/nov_07/bbc_nyc_ope ning_party/kevin-leong.jpg http://www.amazashow.com/Websi tes/amaza/PhotoGallery/278244/ Kevin%20Leong%20designer%20for %20Phat%20Farm.JPG And in one episode he was teaching Rev Run's son the ropes on how to be an intern. Russell came in when his nephew was complaining about the treatment and he said "You can learn alot from him, when he was interning for me he did ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to make me happy. If I wanted something, before I asked he did it and if he thought I needed anything he had it covered." If thats not as lavender as it gets then look at the chinese fan the limp wristed way the the limp wristed guy in the pic is hanging off him. Nuff said!! |

Queen Latifah is in that undeclared zone that Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie ODonnell used to be in, before they officially went public. She has always seemed that way to me - I'm a big fan and don't care either way, but frankly, she's always seemed overly butch to me. Even when she was trying to be feminine, there was always something.... It's a well known secret in the industry that she's a lesbian. She's dropped a few little hints lately that she might be about to go public, but we'll see. AT this point, she may as well. And Walt IS cute, lol. Guess even a lesbian could see that! |

Is it nothing more than an odd coincidence, or is there some definable reason for the fact that every thread "about" Tamara Greene almost immediately turns into a depository for ignorant, uninformed, useless speculations and deep dives into side issues which have nothing to do with her? Who gives a shit about which hip-hop/rap "mogul," or performer, was where, whether or not Queen Latifah is a homosexual, or any of that horse manure? If some of you kept up with real life in the real world as ardently as you keep up with that kind of trivial bullshit, then maybe some of these threads would be worth reading. Ah, well. Should you become tired of paying rent or property tax, maybe you can just pack up all of your shit and move into the television. |

I saw that story on the news, Westside, it was pretty disturbing. I wonder, or rather, hope, that these same neighbors are being questioned somewhere behind the scenes, because its obvious they had something to tell but just didn't want to do it so publicly. Of course you'd ask the neighbors if you wanted to know about a party! Why wasn't this done? It really does look as if Cox was afraid to either go after the truth or wanted to hide the truth. |

In my years in City Government I was often frustrated, angry, sad and dismayed by some of the corrupt things that I saw and heard but couldn't speak about for fear of losing my job. But this Tamara Greene case is by far one of the most frustrating things ever because this crime has reached the highest level of government, the Mayor's office. I truly understand why those neighbors on Dwight and some police officer or employee somewhere who may have seen something, but are still afraid to talk. In the City, you don't even know who you can trust. |

I feel your pain, as Clinton said, but i truly mean it. I know what it is to work for a company and see the shit going on and worried about paying your bills. So sad that people can't come out and serve justice on a personal level without repercussions. Outside of a whistle blower suit. We need to speak up and take risks at the risk of being fired and that is the only way that citizens, u and i will be able to take back control of the system and control it back to the people. |

"We need to speak up and take risks at the risk of being fired and that is the only way that citizens, u and i will be able to take back control of the system and control it back to the people." That sounds like what Brown and Nelthrope did. I'm so glad they were vindicated. |
